Oakwood home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Oakwood fell by $3,800 while total sales increased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,700 - a 3.5% decrease over the $109,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Oakwood in 2017.

The median sales tax in Oakwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,147, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for 2018.
