Bedford home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Bedford fell by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 1.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,000 - a 12.8% decrease over the $78,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 113 homes sold in Bedford in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Bedford for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,417, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
