Olmsted Township home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Olmsted Township rose by $24,500 while total sales increased by 9.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 78 homes sold, with a median sale price of $213,500 - a 13% increase over the $189,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 71 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,831, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
