Bay Village home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Bay Village fell by $3,000 while total sales increased by 24%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 186 homes sold, with a median sale price of $228,250 - a 1.3% decrease over the $231,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 150 homes sold in Bay Village in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Bay Village for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,699, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
