Orange home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Orange fell by $12,600 while total sales increased by 79.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $279,900 - a 4.3% decrease over the $292,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Orange in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Orange for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $8,118, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
