Independence home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Independence fell by $37,250 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,700 - a 15.9% decrease over the $234,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Independence in the fourth quarter of 2018.
