Bedford home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Bedford fell by $14,500 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $67,500 - a 17.7% decrease over the $82,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 54 homes sold in Bedford in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Bedford for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,417, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
