Independence home prices unchanged in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Independence was unchanged while total sales decreased by 22.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000. There were 31 homes sold in Independence in the third quarter of 2018, and the median sales price for the period was also $235,000.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,557, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
