Solon home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Solon rose by $35,050 while total sales increased by 7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 107 homes sold, with a median sale price of $315,000 - a 12.5% increase over the $279,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 100 homes sold in Solon in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Solon for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,431, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
