Bedford home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Bedford fell by $1,769 while total sales increased by 18.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,000 - a 2.5% decrease over the $71,769 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Bedford in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Bedford for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,417, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
