Oakwood home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Oakwood rose by $10,050 while total sales decreased by 53.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,950 - a 9.6% increase over the $104,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Oakwood in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Oakwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,147, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
