Olmsted Township home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Olmsted Township rose by $8,050 while total sales increased by 31%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,000 - a 4% increase over the $199,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,831, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
