Bedford home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Bedford fell by $12,501 while total sales increased by 6.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,000 - a 17.2% decrease over the $72,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Bedford in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Bedford for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,417, approximately 4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
