Independence home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Independence fell by $17,200 while total sales decreased by 19.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,800 - a 8.6% decrease over the $201,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Independence in the fourth quarter of 2016.
