Independence home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Independence rose by $25,000 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 11.9% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Independence in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,557, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for September 2019.
