Wellington home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Wellington fell by $6,775 while total sales increased by 17.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $148,750 - a 4.4% decrease over the $155,525 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Wellington in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
