Wellington home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Wellington fell by $3,450 while total sales increased by 27.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 79 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 2.3% decrease over the $148,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Wellington in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
