Madison home prices rise in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Madison rose by $36,050 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 29.1% increase over the $123,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Madison in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,328, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
