Madison home prices rise in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Madison rose by $90,850 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $184,950 - a 96.5% increase over the $94,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Madison in February 2018.

The median sales tax in Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,328, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for February 2019.
