Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 10.2% increase over the $118,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
