Perry home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Perry fell by $16,350 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,500 - a 10.4% decrease over the $156,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Perry in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Perry for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,852, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
