Kirtland home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Kirtland fell by $28,500 while total sales increased by 116.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $198,000 - a 12.6% decrease over the $226,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Kirtland in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Kirtland for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $7,619, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
