North Madison home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in North Madison rose by $9,500 while total sales increased by 24%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 62 homes sold, with a median sale price of $121,500 - a 8.5% increase over the $112,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 50 homes sold in North Madison in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,378, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
