Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $2,850 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $118,850 - a 2.5% increase over the $116,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
