Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Mentor-on-the-Lake fell by $1,500 while total sales decreased by 1.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 60 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,500 - a 1.1% decrease over the $137,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 61 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
