Fairport Harbor home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Fairport Harbor fell by $4,500 while total sales increased by 25.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $98,000 - a 4.4% decrease over the $102,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Fairport Harbor in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Fairport Harbor for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,150, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
