Grand River home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Grand River rose by $38,176 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $168,176 - a 29.4% increase over the $130,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Grand River in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Grand River for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,701, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
