Mentor-on-the-Lake home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Mentor-on-the-Lake rose by $8,500 while total sales decreased by 27.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 51 homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,000 - a 6.8% increase over the $124,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Mentor-on-the-Lake in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,466, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
