Wellington home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Wellington rose by $15,400 while total sales decreased by 19.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $149,000 - a 11.5% increase over the $133,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Wellington in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Wellington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,428, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
