LaGrange home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in LaGrange rose by $22,500 while total sales decreased by 69.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $202,500 - a 12.5% increase over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in LaGrange in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in LaGrange for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,223, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
