Cleveland home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Cleveland rose by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 37.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 1,124 homes sold, with a median sale price of $44,000 - a 10% increase over the $40,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,786 homes sold in Cleveland in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Cleveland for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,682, approximately 3.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
