Garfield Heights home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Garfield Heights rose by $7,200 while total sales decreased by 38.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 120 homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,700 - a 13.7% increase over the $52,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 195 homes sold in Garfield Heights in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Garfield Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,924, approximately 4.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
