Lakewood home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Lakewood rose by $26,900 while total sales decreased by 49%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 123 homes sold, with a median sale price of $194,900 - a 16% increase over the $168,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 241 homes sold in Lakewood in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Lakewood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,539, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
