Perry home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Perry rose by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,000 - a 17.8% increase over the $169,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Perry in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Perry for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,852, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
