Newtown home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Newtown rose by $67,800 while total sales increased by 35.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 43.1% increase over the $157,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Newtown in the third quarter of 2019.
