Brewster home prices fall in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Brewster fell by $20,500 while total sales increased by 175%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,500 - a 15.1% decrease over the $136,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Brewster in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Brewster for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,152, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
