Louisville home prices fall in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Louisville fell by $20,000 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 11.1% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Louisville in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
