Canton home prices rise in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Canton rose by $82,550 while total sales increased by 80.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 208 homes sold, with a median sale price of $124,750 - a 195.6% increase over the $42,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 115 homes sold in Canton in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,388, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
