Massillon home prices rise in May 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in Massillon rose by $45,500 while total sales increased by 27.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were 69 homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 48.1% increase over the $94,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 54 homes sold in Massillon in May 2019.

The median sales tax in Massillon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,849, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for May 2020.
