The second half of 2020: Home prices in Brewster fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Brewster fell by $26,650 while total sales increased by 77.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,350 - a 18.8% decrease over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Brewster in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Brewster for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,152, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
