Median home prices in Amherst rose to $165,000 in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Amherst rose by $5,100 while total sales decreased by 85.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,000 - a 3.2% increase over the $159,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 85 homes sold in Amherst in the fourth quarter of 2019.
