Lorain median home prices rose by 36.7% in December 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2020 in Lorain rose by $22,000 while total sales decreased by 76.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2020, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $82,000 - a 36.7% increase over the $60,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 91 homes sold in Lorain in December 2019.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,358, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for December 2020.
