May 2021: Fairfield experienced a 6.7% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2021 in Fairfield rose by $10,400 while total sales increased by 43.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2021, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $164,500 - a 6.7% increase over the $154,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 51 homes sold in Fairfield in May 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairfield for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,185, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for May 2021.
