Louisville median home prices rose by 4.7% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Louisville rose by $7,450 while total sales increased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 90 homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,450 - a 4.7% increase over the $160,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Louisville in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
