Massillon median home prices rose by 14.3% in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Massillon rose by $17,125 while total sales increased by 23.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 488 homes sold, with a median sale price of $136,825 - a 14.3% increase over the $119,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 396 homes sold in Massillon in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Massillon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,849, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
