Middletown home prices rose in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Middletown rose by $5,000 while total sales increased by 35.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 474 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $105,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 349 homes sold in Middletown in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Middletown for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,264, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
