What happened to the median home price in Hamilton during the first half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Hamilton rose by $16,250 while total sales increased by 54.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 635 homes sold, with a median sale price of $119,000 - a 15.8% increase over the $102,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 412 homes sold in Hamilton in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Hamilton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,170, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
