July 2021: Painesville experienced a 21% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2021 in Painesville rose by $31,200 while total sales increased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2021, there were 92 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 21% increase over the $148,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 87 homes sold in Painesville in July 2020.

The median sales tax in Painesville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,044, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for July 2021.
