Lorain median home prices rose by 40.2% in August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Lorain rose by $28,100 while total sales increased by 47.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 161 homes sold, with a median sale price of $98,000 - a 40.2% increase over the $69,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 109 homes sold in Lorain in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Lorain for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,358, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
