Home prices increased in Monroe during the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Monroe rose by $35,250 while total sales increased by 15%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 46 homes sold, with a median sale price of $247,500 - a 16.6% increase over the $212,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Monroe in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Monroe for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,745, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
